Sergio Bosi is principal solo clarinet of the Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana (FORM) and a clarinet teacher at the Gioachino Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro. Bosi started his musical studies very young, graduating at the age of 16 and winning numerous international solo and chamber music competitions.

As an acclaimed specialist in Italian music, Bosi has made numerous recordings for the Naxos, Bongiovanni, Arcam and Mondo Musica labels. He also holds masterclasses at foreign institutions including the Real Conservatorio Superior de Madrid, the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music in Hangzhou and at the music universities of Vienna, Ghent and Castellón. Bosi has supervised and edited the Rare Italian Clarinet Music series for the publisher Eufonia, and made numerous revisions of important works, including the critical edition of Rossini’s Variazioni in do manuscript and Aurélio Magnani’s complete works for clarinet and piano.
